Spend 3 Days (2 Nights) on a Uganda Safari through Queen Elizabeth National Park.  Queen Elizabeth National Park is described by many as the most beautiful park in Africa. Set in the west of the Great African rift valley, and bordered by the Rwenzori Mountains (the legendary mist-capped ‘Mountains of the Moon’). Queen Elizabeth incorporates dozens of mirror surfaced crater-lakes, salty and fresh water lakes. There are over 95 mammal including 10 primate species (chimpanzees, vervet, blue, red-tailed, L’Hoest monkey, colobus, baboons), up to 20 predators (lion, leopard, spotted hyena, etc), antelopes, buffaloes, hippos, elephants. More than 610 bird species (probably the highest total for any national park in Africa, if not the world. In addition to 54 raptors, the checklist includes virtually every waterbird species of Uganda, a variety of woodland and forest species.


Accommodation is based on a standard double/ twin or single room in your choice of accommodation. This can either be budget, mid range or high end.  All accommodation options are selected by its location and service standard compared to its price. The cost of the tour includes most meals when your choice is mid range or high end. When you choose for the budget option all meals are excluded. Please check in the program what meals are included with your choice of accommodation.

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Fort portal
We leave after Breakfast to take the journey from Kampala to the West of Uganda through Mubende; Lunch en-route. The route travels through breathtaking scenery and delightfully rolling plantations. Arriving at FortPortal, we’ll travel on to Rwenzori Travellers Inn or Mantana Camp for overnight and dinner. Fullboard

Day 2: Chimp tracking, primate viewing, Bigodi swamp excursion
After breakfast, set off toKibaleForest in search of its families of habituated chimpanzees. This dense tropical forest is home to an astonishing 12 species of primates and provides one of the highest primate densities in the world. While on our guided forest walk you’ll find families of chimps and red Colobus monkeys chattering and swinging through the ancient forest trees. After lunch go to Bigodi swamp walk for birding in search of more primate species, and more spectacular – the rear wetland sitatunga and the Shoebill

Day 3: Forest walk, return to Kampala through Mubende
After Breakfast, we will take a brief forest nature walk before we leave for our return journey toKampala. ReachKampala at your hotel in the early evening.
